The work-permit date moved three times in three weeks.
Since the Supreme Court's June 25 TPS ruling, USCIS has reset the federal work-authorization placeholder date from July 1 to July 10 to July 17 — July 24 for Haiti. If anyone on your team works on an EAD, I-9 reverification is now a moving target. We built a free Odoo module so it stops living in a spreadsheet.

Statuses below were verified July 11, 2026. They change with court orders — which is the whole problem. Always confirm against USCIS I-9 Central before acting, and put employment-eligibility decisions in front of counsel.
