Lotus and Luna sells handcrafted, ethically made clothing and healing-stone jewelry, direct on Shopify and wholesale. Behind the storefront, everything from the first purchase order to the last journal entry runs on an Odoo build we designed, implemented and extended.

The problem.
Apparel multiplies. One design becomes a run of sizes and colorways, and a brand that releases new pieces constantly ends up with a catalog of more than 14,000 SKUs. Shopify is a fine storefront for that catalog. It is not a purchasing system, a warehouse, a general ledger or a wholesale desk.
Lotus and Luna needed one system of record behind the store: orders flowing in from Shopify without retyping, stock that stays true across sizes, vendors paid against real purchase orders, books that close, and a proper channel for wholesale buyers.
What we built.
The entire backend, end to end. Shopify stays the storefront; Odoo runs everything behind it.
Sales orders & fulfillment
Every channel lands as a sales order in one queue: picked, packed and shipped from Odoo, with stock updated as it goes.
Purchasing
Purchase orders to makers and suppliers, tracked through receipt and on to the vendor bill.
A catalog that keeps up
A variant structure built for sizes and constant new releases, so a new collection is a catalog task, not a data-entry project.
Invoicing & accounting
Customer invoicing, vendor bills and the full ledger in one place, from the order to the financial statements.
Dashboards
The numbers the owners actually run the business on, live from the same data that runs the operation.
Wholesale portal
portal.lotusandluna.com: wholesale buyers log in and order straight into Odoo, into the same fulfillment queue as every other channel.

How it runs now.
- One system of record. Retail, wholesale, purchasing and accounting live in the same database, so a number in one report matches the number in every other.
- 14,000+ SKUs under management, with new releases added continuously.
- Wholesale is self-serve. Buyers order through their own portal, and those orders land in Odoo like any other.
- Shopify stays where it is good. The storefront sells; Odoo runs everything behind it.
Enterprise when it earns it.
We are known for making the case for Odoo Community, and we meant it. Lotus and Luna runs on Enterprise on Odoo.sh, and we build on it just as happily. We recommend what fits the business, then build it properly either way. The custom work lives in clean modules delivered with full source, whichever edition sits underneath.
